What can be deleted

• All bank transaction history and imported data
• All categories, rules, and audit-log entries
• All Plaid access tokens (revoked via Plaid's item/remove API — this immediately severs our access to your bank)
• Inventory, equipment, and reconciliation records
• Database backups containing your data (within the 30-day backup rotation)

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] from the account owner's address with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Include the business name on the account. We verify ownership before acting.

Timeline

Verified requests are completed within 30 days:

• Day 0: request received, ownership verified, Plaid tokens revoked immediately
• Day 0–1: application data permanently deleted
• Within 30 days: backups containing the data age out of the rotation
• You receive written confirmation when complete

Export before deletion

Want your books before they go? Ask for an export in the same email — we'll provide your full transaction ledger and reports as CSV before deleting anything.
